What participants report after training

These are written accounts from workshop, coaching, and clinic attendees. We include mild reservations where offered — trading results vary and we do not publish performance guarantees.

Day two’s replay lab was the turning point. I had been calling every minor break a CHoCH on US500. Marcus made me wait for displacement on the 5-minute before labeling a shift. My trade count dropped by roughly a third over the next month — not because of a magic filter, but because half my “setups” no longer qualified.

Coaching sessions are blunt, which I needed. We killed my old checklist because it had twelve items and I ignored ten of them. The four-field version feels restrictive at first; it stopped me from entering during the lunch lull when structure on GBP pairs was flat.

The clinic format is awkward if you dislike presenting losses — I presented a losing gold trade and the group spotted that I moved invalidation after entry. Uncomfortable, but cheaper than repeating the mistake live.

Bridport venue is plain and functional, not a luxury retreat. Lunch was good. I would have liked one more half-day on higher-timeframe bias, though Marcus pointed me to journal articles for that piece.

Extended story — rebuilding after a drawdown

Paul attended the Structure Shift Workshop in autumn 2024 after a six-month drawdown on European indices. He had abandoned structure marking and relied on moving-average crosses again — a regression from earlier journal habits.

During the workshop he re-mapped three weeks of replayed DAX sessions and tagged every entry against the four checkpoints. The tag “shift without sweep” appeared on forty-one percent of his historical losers.

He booked a monthly coaching block for Q1 2025 to keep the checklist honest during volatile election weeks. Paul reports steadier — not larger — results, and says the main gain is stopping earlier when CHoCH fails rather than averaging down.
