Curriculum

From blank chart to confirmed entry

This progression underpins every Datapathbase programme. Workshop attendees cover all modules in two days; coaching clients revisit sections as needed.

Module 1 — Swing structure foundations

Define external swings on your execution timeframe. Mark protected highs and lows. Distinguish range behaviour from directional legs using body closes, not wick extremes alone.

Module 2 — Liquidity and inducement

Locate obvious stop clusters: equal highs, session extremes, and overnight gaps. Understand why a sweep alone is never confirmation.

Module 3 — Break of structure (BOS)

Criteria for a valid BOS: displacement, close beyond level, and alignment with higher-timeframe bias. Practice on replayed index futures sessions.

Module 4 — Change of character (CHoCH)

Identify when trend character flips against prior bias. Compare failed breaks that trap early reversals versus genuine shifts.

Module 5 — Confirmation checkpoints

Build the four-field checklist: liquidity event, structural shift, entry zone, invalidation. No trade without all four documented.

Module 6 — Journal integration

Weekly review ritual: tag trades by checkpoint failure type. Coaching and clinics use these tags to prioritise drills.

Recommended path

Workshop first for full coverage, then monthly clinics for accountability. Add coaching if you trade fast markets and need weekly markup.
